Gov Diri Meets Power Company Over Poor Services


* Government Promises 12 Hours of power supply daily


The Bayelsa state government has assured Bayelsans that the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) will supply 12 hours of electricity to residents in the state.

This was revealed by the former General Manager of Bayelsa State Electricity Company Olice Kemenanabo while briefing newsmen after a close door meeting with officials of the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHEDC) and the state Governor at his office in Government House Yenagoa over the epileptic nature of power supply in the state.


Kemenanabo said the supply will start from 12 hours and increase to 18 hours and subsequently 24 hours which will be solely determined by compliance of consumers to pay, adding that government is willing to work with PHEDC to pay her part. recalls that Kolga born Engineer has made similar promises in the past that turned out to be empty mere talk.
