Bayelsa to Open Schools in September


The Bayelsa State Government has approved the reopening of primary six pupils in all public and private schools in the state with effect from Monday 7th September, 2020.

A Statement signed by the Permanent Secretary, Bayelsa State Ministry of Education Walton Liverpool revealed that the Governor, Douye Diri directed headmasters of public primary schools and proprietors of private schools to resume schools for primary six pupils on the 7th September, 2020.

The Statement adds that Covid19 materials shall be supplied to schools through the Ministry of Education before the resumption date.
